Katherine Heinrich, DVM

Dr. Heinrich has been part of the Silver Spring Animal Wellness Center team since June of 2006. A local, she grew up in Greendale, Wisconsin and now resides in Cedarburg. Dr. Heinrich received her BS degree in Biochemistry from Marquette University in 2002 and her DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2006. Dr. Heinrich then joined us after graduating from veterinary school. We are so pleased she chose to practice at Silver Spring Animal Wellness Center!

Dr. Heinrich's medical interests include dermatology, internal medicine, holistic medicine, and pain management. She has been a practicing acupuncturist for many years. As TMJ4’s veterinary "Ask the Expert," Dr. Heinrich has offered advice and pet health information to the community bi-weekly on the live news over the past several years. Dr. Heinrich is excited to offer her skills, compassion, and expertise to pets in need throughout the Milwaukee area.

In her spare time, Dr. Heinrich enjoys riding her sport bike, running, reading everything, traveling to unusual places, and most especially spending time with her husband and her four children. The furry members of her family are all rescued pet's; Luna, Rufus, Stinky and several chickens.
